SOLDERING AND CONTACT PRESSING

The aim of the course
The course provides a basic knowledge and command of Soldering
and Contact Pressing. Its aim being to develop the student´s ability to judge the quality of various connections. The student learns how to avoid static electricity discharge, how to organise the working environment to meet safety demands, and to obtain a basic knowledge of this subject to the level required in electronic industries today.

The course makes use of a multimedia software (CBT) which enables the student to experiment and learn at his or her own pace.
It is motivating, interesting and fun to use as an addition to the normal courseware. The laboratory package includes a set of components and multimedia CD.

The courseware for Soldering and Contact Pressing consists of a
Text book, Experiment book, Teacher´s book and Exercise book.
